Posted By : Staff Citywalkers/ 3160

Explore the fashionable lakeside town of Como, surrounded by snowcapped mountains and picturesque Mediterranean villas, and enjoy a breathtaking cruise along Lake Como.

A great way to discover the timeless beauty of the Italian lakes.

Explore the fashionable lakeside town of Como, surrounded by snowcapped mountains and picturesque Mediterranean villas, and enjoy a breathtaking cruise along Lake Como.

In the summer, dock at the enchanting village of Bellagio for free time to dine and shop; in the winter, take the funicular up to the town of Brunate for a sweeping panorama of the city and the lake below.

We recommend visiting Como, Bellagio, and Varenna. Each town is special and beautiful in its own way, and with only one day, they’re close enough to each other to visit all three.
You can get there by car or by train. If possible, take one of the earliest trains into Como, and one of the last trains back to Milan. If you do that, you can easily spend three or more hours in each town!
